Freya Doughty-Wagner is a final year doctoral candidate at Washington University in St. Louis and an Associate Lecturer for University of the West of England, Bristol. Her climate justice work has been featured by the American Branch of the International Law Association, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, the European Society of International Law, and the Hernán Santa Cruz Dialogues.
Doughty-Wagner’s previous experience includes the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, the Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute, and the United Nations International Law Commission. Her first co-edited collection (with Professor Sumudu Atapattu, University of Wisconsin) entitled ‘The Fourth Environmental Era: Climate Justice,’ will be published in 2024 by Vernon Press.
